Head of Strategic Sourcing (Consumer Goods)

hirify.global works with approximately 500 Amazon brands generating more than $1B in combined Amazon sales and is launching a division focused on reducing clients' cost of goods.

What you will do

• Analyze current COGS and procurement structures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build should-cost models, run RFQs, benchmark factories, and compare suppliers.
• Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and MOQs.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and qualify alternative suppliers.
• Reduce supplier and manufacturing risk across consumer-goods programs.
• Build the sourcing methodology, systems, and SOPs, then recruit and manage the future team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Strong background in China or Asia manufacturing and OEM/ODM products.
• Experience with consumer goods, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, should-cost analysis, RFQs, supplier development, and value engineering.
• Experience negotiating payment terms and working across multiple brands, suppliers, or product categories.
• Relevant backgrounds include Amazon aggregators, sourcing companies, CPG brands, procurement consulting firms, or large consumer-product businesses.
