Director of Supply Chain

Location: Remote; the role is part of a fully remote headquarters, with biannual in-person off-sites.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus incentive compensation depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own the monthly supply plan across contract manufacturers and pack-out partners, from demand planning through purchase orders.
• Manage supplier relationships and build negotiation programs covering pricing, capacity commitments, and quarterly performance reviews.
• Own fully burdened cost per unit, partner with Finance, and reduce costs through improved allocation and procurement.
• Build and run demand planning and a monthly S&OP cycle across Finance, Marketing, and Retail.
• Design and de-risk the logistics and 3PL network, including routing and freight decisions affecting landed cost.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team while moving planning from spreadsheets to a dedicated system.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in CPG supply chain, including at least 3 years owning a function or major end-to-end scope.
• Experience operating an asset-light contract manufacturing network with multiple co-manufacturers or co-packers, MOQs, capacity limits, and long lead times.
• Strong experience negotiating supplier agreements directly.
• Experience owning cost per unit or COGS and demonstrating measurable results.
• Ability to build supply plans covering net requirements, safety stock, on-hand inventory, and open purchase orders.
• Experience running or establishing S&OP and securing cross-functional commitment to a single plan.
