Head of Global Supply Chain, Procurement & Sourcing (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid role based in either Bridgewater, New Jersey, United States, or Ghent, Belgium

Base pay: $222,672–$292,258 USD annually, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global strategy and operating model for supply chain, procurement, sourcing, planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting strategy, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
• Own integrated demand and supply planning, including S&OP/IBP, capacity planning, inventory strategy, and allocation recommendations.
• Ensure supply chain readiness for product launches, capacity expansions, site transfers, and lifecycle changes.
• Drive supply chain visibility, continuous improvement, automation, analytics, digital transformation, and AI-enabled decision-making.
• Build and lead a high-performing global organization while advising executive leadership on supply, capacity, cost, inventory, and risk trade-offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain, planning, operations, or pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical supply chain leadership, including significant executive experience.
• Experience leading complex global supply chains for commercial pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical products.
• Expertise in demand and supply planning, S&OP/IBP, inventory management, logistics, distribution, supply risk management, and network optimization.
• Experience supporting global product launches and rapidly scaling supply networks.
