Global Trade Associate

Location: New Century, Kansas, USA; hybrid attendance three days per week

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annual base salary, depending on experience and other hiring factors.

What you will do

• Support customs operations and import clearance activities for the United States and Canada.
• Coordinate customs broker inquiries, review customs entries, and support post-entry activities.
• Monitor customs holds, examinations, government agency requests, duty drawback, and duty recovery programs.
• Support trade controls, denied-party and sanctions screening, export control processes, and global trade activities beyond North America.
• Maintain trade compliance documentation and audit-ready records, including support for ACE and CARM reporting.
• Assist with audits, training, free trade agreement qualification, record retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, logistics, supply chain, import/export operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, international business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting customs compliance activities and maintaining accurate compliance records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in New Century, Kansas, with office attendance three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP GTS, SAP ERP, ACE, CARM, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with free trade agreements, export controls, and sanctions screening.
• Experience working with customs brokers and global stakeholders.
• Prior experience with export controls, sanctions screening, or denied-party screening.
