Diffusion Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite at the Ed Bluestein manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Support semiconductor manufacturing operations across multiple chamber and equipment types.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform board-level repairs using schematics and electrical diagnostics.
• Work with helium leak detectors, RF calibration equipment, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Diagnose and support vacuum, gas control, and high-pressure systems.
• Learn and support additional manufacturing toolsets as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and technical teams to maintain equipment performance.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical capability, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with multiple chambers on equipment such as TEL 8SE, 8SEI, AVP, Wafer Mark Laser Scribe, Gemini and Comet MTU, or LPCVD.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the board level.
• Understanding of electrical and electronics theory, vacuum systems, gas control systems, and high-pressure systems.
• One qualifying technical background: a two-year technical degree, accredited technical certification, qualifying bachelor's coursework or degree with technical experience, 5+ years of technical experience, or military technical training with relevant experience.
