Location: Onsite in Milpitas, California, USA; up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
Salary: $32.07–$54.52 per hour.

What you will do
- Build, assemble, integrate, and bring up semiconductor equipment and subsystems.
- Install and maintain ultra-high vacuum chambers, pumps, gauges, valves, and gas delivery hardware.
- Wire electrical cabinets, controls, sensors, interlocks, and cable assemblies.
- Execute test procedures, helium leak tests, vacuum qualifications, and system diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot electrical, vacuum, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system failures.
- Support prototype builds, engineering experiments, equipment upgrades, production systems, and field installations.
Requirements
- Senior technician with 10–15 years of semiconductor industry experience; a minimum of 4–6 years of related experience is also listed.
- Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with ultra-high vacuum systems, cleanroom practices, contamination control, and mechanical system integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical wiring, control systems, equipment interlocks, and related hardware.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings and use DVMs, clamp-on ammeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel, bend, reach, and safely lift components weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
