Associate Manager, New Verticals - Retail Strategy & Operations

Location: Hybrid work from New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tempe, Denver, or Washington, DC; a few in-person days are required each month.

Salary: $105,400–$155,000 USD per year, plus equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop strategies for serving customers and merchants across new retail products and selection.
• Build metric dashboards, own weekly performance, and manage quarterly targets.
• Use SQL, Excel, and AI tools to model economic, operational, and strategic trade-offs.
• Design and run operational experiments with measurable outcomes.
• Launch new products and scale emerging retail businesses from strategy through operational execution.
• Collaborate with growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to influence outcomes.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments such as technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of operating experience solving problems to build and scale products in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, including hands-on SQL, Excel modeling, and use of AI tools for analysis.
• Entrepreneurial ownership, bias toward action, and comfort working through ambiguity and operational detail.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
