Business Optimization Manager

Location: Bellevue, Washington, USA; onsite role.

Salary: USD 120,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with billing, operations, and commercial teams to map workflows and identify costly or error-prone manual steps.
• Create and defend prioritized automation plans based on effort, business impact, and implementation sequence.
• Build and maintain integrations between business systems using APIs, webhooks, and scheduled jobs.
• Use BigQuery and SQL for operational analysis, reporting, and automation validation.
• Configure and extend Retool, HubSpot, and other low-code or SaaS platforms, including small JavaScript customizations.
• Apply AI and agentic automation, monitor launched solutions, measure outcomes, and iterate within corporate security controls.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in business systems, business analysis, solutions, or technical product roles with ownership of outcomes.
• Hands-on experience building, consuming, and troubleshooting business-system integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregation, and window functions, with experience using a cloud data warehouse.
• Ability to identify business problems, design viable solutions, and drive them through adoption.
• Technical range to work independently in systems interfaces and adapt small pieces of custom JavaScript.
• Strong communication and judgment when working with non-technical teams and corporate security controls.
