Healthcare Market Finance Lead

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Work hours are 8am to 5pm EST or CST, with business travel as needed. Home or hybrid home/office work may be supported subject to company requirements.

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze market financials, claims, utilization, membership, risk adjustment, medical costs, and provider contract performance.
• Partner with value-based providers and senior leadership to review performance trends, financial results, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, financial reports, and executive summaries covering trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, administrative planning, and market financial reviews.
• Lead financial analysis for market optimization, value-based care, cost containment, and growth initiatives.
• Build cross-functional relationships and address complex financial and operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of experience with value-based contracts or value-based providers.
• Experience developing methods and criteria for complex data analysis and advising senior leadership on financial strategies.
• At least 2 years of project leadership experience and 1 year of experience with SQL or other data-related tools.
• Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting.
• At least 1 year of experience leading special projects involving cross-functional partnerships.

Nice to have

• Healthcare economics or value-based performance analytics experience.
• Medicare Advantage bid process or Service Fund reporting experience.
• People management experience, an MBA or related master’s degree, PMP certification, or CPA license.
