Location: Sevenoaks, UK, with hybrid working; Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30.

Salary: £26,350–£34,800 per year, plus up to £2,000 annual performance-related bonus once established in the role.

What you will do

• Manage investigations and a portfolio of suspected fraudulent motor insurance claims from referral through resolution.
• Assess claims, intelligence, and referrals to determine appropriate investigation strategies and case outcomes.
• Work with investigative service providers by supplying clear instructions and evaluating their findings.
• Maintain accurate reserves, communications, service levels, file records, and claims-handling procedures.
• Prevent claims leakage while maximising savings and appropriate repudiations.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of the counter-fraud team.

Requirements

• Good understanding of claims handling, including indemnity, liability, credit hire, property damage, first-party, and bodily injury claims.
• Sound technical judgement and strong portfolio management and file discipline.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work independently with minimal support.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Understanding of intelligence and investigative tools used to validate claims.
• Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.
