Aerodynamic Operation Engineer (Low Pressure Compressor)

Location: Hybrid in Diegem, Belgium, with up to 70% work from home. The flex abroad program allows working abroad for up to 45 days.

What you will do

• Resolve aerodynamic issues in production and service environments while maintaining certification margins.
• Assess manufacturing deviations and propose robust technical solutions.
• Manage concessions and non-conformities in line with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Support fleet and maintenance shop operations, customer technical requests, maintenance criteria, and repair solutions.
• Drive process improvement and cost reduction across production and service engineering workflows.
• Support certification of modifications and new applications with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or an equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of aerodynamic engineering experience, ideally involving turbomachinery.
• Solid knowledge of CFD tools and Python.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing, with an understanding of production and service engineering environments.
• Fluent French and good technical English are required.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively under pressure.
