Location: Hybrid work at the hirify.global Airpower site in Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium, combining remote work with regular on-site presence.

What you will do

• Perform advanced fluid-dynamic and thermal simulations across diverse product applications.
• Collaborate with global product development teams to identify opportunities for simulation-driven design optimization.
• Define simulation strategies and integrate them into the product development cycle.
• Develop simulation models, tools, and machine-learning applications while creating roadmaps for further improvements.
• Track advances in fluid dynamics, thermal analysis, and machine learning, and contribute to the CAE competence domain.
• Mentor junior colleagues and communicate simulation capabilities and limitations to stakeholders worldwide.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering Science or Science.
• PhD or research experience in the relevant domain.
• Strong experience with fluid dynamics and CFD simulations.
• Experience with machine-learning techniques and programming.
• Experience with flow and/or thermal measurements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
