What you will do

• Architect and implement validation strategies using Python automation, CAD, shop tools, and custom test fixtures.
• Oversee experiments in internal facilities and external laboratories using vibration tables, environmental chambers, DAQ systems, and ingress protection testing.
• Translate vehicle reliability requirements into performance metrics for mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
• Lead FMEA and FTA sessions and investigate hardware failures through the FRACAS framework.
• Collaborate with autonomy and engineering teams to validate sensors, software reliability, and HIL simulation environments.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in reliability validation or hardware testing for robotics, unmanned platforms, or automated vehicles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with environmental chambers, vibration tables, DAQ systems, CAD, and shop tools.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and understanding of the interaction between autonomy software and physical hardware.
• Strong communication, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills in complex testing environments.
