What you will do
- Design RF enclosures and test systems for next-generation Active Electronic Scanning Array (AESA) Radar systems.
- Own RF and standard electronics packaging, including ECAD, collaborating closely with Radar Electrical engineers.
- Design electrical interconnection and system harnessing.
- Support certification of AESA Radar and other Avionics hardware to DO-160 environmental, DO-254 design assurance, and FCC standards.
Requirements
- Expertise in CAD modeling and drafting (NX preferred).
- Mastery of tolerance and assembly analysis, including GD&T.
- Knowledge of change management processes and experience with configuration management tools (Teamcenter preferred).
- Familiarity with DO-160 environmental requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. person or have valid authorization to comply with U.S. export control laws.
Nice to have
- Experience in avionics and radar packaging.
- Thermal analysis experience using both hand calculations and finite element methods.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability and volume production.
- Experience in project ownership and management.
- Hands-on skills in assembling avionics according to aerospace industry standards.
