TL;DR

Compensation: $190K – $250K

What you will do

  • Design RF enclosures and test systems for next-generation Active Electronic Scanning Array (AESA) Radar systems.
  • Own RF and standard electronics packaging, including ECAD, collaborating closely with Radar Electrical engineers.
  • Design electrical interconnection and system harnessing.
  • Support certification of AESA Radar and other Avionics hardware to DO-160 environmental, DO-254 design assurance, and FCC standards.

Requirements

  • Expertise in CAD modeling and drafting (NX preferred).
  • Mastery of tolerance and assembly analysis, including GD&T.
  • Knowledge of change management processes and experience with configuration management tools (Teamcenter preferred).
  • Familiarity with DO-160 environmental requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. person or have valid authorization to comply with U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

  • Experience in avionics and radar packaging.
  • Thermal analysis experience using both hand calculations and finite element methods.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability and volume production.
  • Experience in project ownership and management.
  • Hands-on skills in assembling avionics according to aerospace industry standards.
