What you will do

• Design and validate electrical circuits, PCBs, and interconnect systems for autonomous robotic platforms.
• Develop schematics and select components based on performance, reliability, and cost.
• Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and characterization in collaboration with firmware and software teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve system-level electrical issues.
• Execute test plans to verify subsystem performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and overseas vendors to support product builds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical system design and testing for robotics or consumer electronics.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools, preferably Altium.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Experience in hardware prototype bring-up and fault detection.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-speed circuits, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
• Familiarity with common interfaces (CAN, SPI, UART, I2C, USB).
• Ability to write automation scripts using Python or Bash.
• Experience with Nvidia Jetson platform and sensor modalities (LiDAR, radar, camera).
• Experience in cable harness design and overseas vendor partnerships.
