Senior Operations Specialist, Engineering Testing (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead live testing across transportation, deployment, and safety validation for autonomous technologies.
• Partner with hardware, software, and business operations teams to validate product capabilities.
• Conduct and document complex tests, evaluate robot behavior, identify issues, and validate features and requirements.
• Apply technical judgment to assess operational risk, distinguish expected behavior from defects, and determine when escalation is required.
• Develop testing processes, protocols, and checklists that improve safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze logs, investigate issues, track them through resolution, and produce reports with trends and recommendations while mentoring junior specialists.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent strong background, in autonomous vehicle, robotics, or complex systems testing in a live operational environment.
• Strong technical judgment and troubleshooting skills for complex system behavior in dynamic real-world scenarios.
• Experience working with engineering teams to investigate issues, communicate technical findings, and influence product improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and presenting technical recommendations.
• Experience with Linux, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ownership, leadership, mentoring ability, and comfort working in evolving, ambiguous environments.
