Salary: $120,800–$181,200 USD

What you will do
- Lead the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex digital hardware and circuit boards.
- Drive board design projects through completion, verification, and integration.
- Develop technical specifications and ensure hardware reliability and performance.
- Analyze hardware configurations to meet system and regulatory requirements.
- Provide hands-on lab support for prototypes, troubleshooting, and production hardware.
- Manage component libraries, including schematic symbols and PCB footprints (approx. 20% of role).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s degree).
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- Must be able to work onsite in Lafayette, Colorado, at least 4 days per week.
- Experience with digital hardware design and multi-board architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a lab environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium.
- Familiarity with regulated product development environments (medical device, aerospace, or automotive).
- Experience with E-CAD library management.
