What you will do

• Lead the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex digital hardware and circuit boards.
• Drive board design projects through completion, verification, and integration.
• Develop technical specifications and ensure hardware reliability and performance.
• Analyze hardware configurations to meet system and regulatory requirements.
• Provide hands-on lab support for prototypes, troubleshooting, and production hardware.
• Manage component libraries, including schematic symbols and PCB footprints (approx. 20% of role).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lafayette, Colorado, at least 4 days per week.
• Experience with digital hardware design and multi-board architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a lab environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium.
• Familiarity with regulated product development environments (medical device, aerospace, or automotive).
• Experience with E-CAD library management.
