What you will do

• Develop, release, and operate large-scale web applications.
• Define backend architecture and technology choices for a product area.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security across backend systems.
• Help transition a monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical trade-offs and maximize business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Professional experience with backend technology stacks and modern web architecture.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, unit testing, and architectural design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, or RabbitMQ.
• Ability to analyze and improve system efficiency, scalability, and stability.

Nice to have

• Experience building large-scale, real-time applications.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
