What you will do

• Create prototypes and software design proposals that align with future-state product architecture.
• Champion initiatives through the full Agile SDLC from design to production.
• Improve core product builds and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects to define and oversee the product roadmap.
• Troubleshoot and eliminate root causes for production issues.
• Mentor developers through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto, ON and able to work 3 days a week in the office.
• Strong experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in public cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Ability to integrate AI-assisted tools into daily workflows for code completion and debugging.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular/TypeScript for SPA development.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with accounting and auditing concepts.
• Experience with NX monorepos and trunk-based development.
