Software Engineer, ECAD Architect

What you will do

• Research, design, and develop desktop and cloud-based electronics design software.
• Architect scalable, secure, fault-tolerant AWS systems and high-performance RESTful services using Node.js.
• Build C++ ECAD features across schematic capture, PCB layout, library development, BOM management, and CAM.
• Develop integrations with third-party APIs, electronics design tools, and acquired technologies.
• Design data models, component databases, and translation specifications for CAD, BOM, ERP, and proprietary file formats.
• Build deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational tooling across the full development life cycle.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in each of the required technical areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, additional qualifying experience may be accepted.
• Experience with Delphi/Object Pascal, C/C++, SQL, and MySQL.
• Experience designing modular CAD systems, customizable engineering UIs, abstract electronics data models, and component databases.
• Experience with UML, Visual Component Library, MFC, C API, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Excel.
• Availability to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
