Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise (Data): Designing and deploying enterprise-grade data pipelines and dbt Cloud solutions for major customers with an accent on data warehousing, technical evaluations, and customer adoption. Focus on leading proof-of-concept implementations, translating complex requirements into concrete architectures, and deploying dbt Cloud in private enterprise clouds.

Location: US remote; candidates must be located in the Seattle, Portland, or San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary: OTE of $219,458.75–$274,323.75 in Seattle, including salary, equity, and applicable performance-based pay.

What you will do

• Design enterprise-grade data pipelines and solutions with dbt Cloud.
• Partner with sales to communicate the technical value of the product suite.
• Lead proof-of-concept implementations, customer trials, and product adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering on private-cloud deployments for enterprise customers.
• Own the customer lifecycle from pre-sales evaluation through expansion.
• Develop enterprise product-roadmap input and partner enablement with Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, and other partners.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI.
• Strong technical background in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and modern data warehousing architectures.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and contribute inclusively to the community.

Nice to have

• Experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
• Prior experience with dbt and dimensional, data vault, Kimball, or 3NF modeling.
• Experience with Informatica, Boomi, Talend, or other enterprise ETL tools.
