Salary: $219,100 — $301,300 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to provide technical leadership and solve complex business problems for strategic customers.
• Lead technical discovery and design architectures for projects spanning data engineering, data science, and machine learning.
• Implement proof of concepts and build solutions that integrate with cloud services and 3rd party applications.
• Act as a strategic technical advisor to customers to drive high-impact business outcomes.
• Promote and recruit contributors for open-source projects such as Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or pre-sales consulting.
• Proven experience building distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python and SQL.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or ML frameworks like pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Must be available to travel to customers within the assigned region.

• Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Operations Research.
