Salary: $107,500–$188,400 USD, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Identify product opportunities and own the journey from validated prototype through evaluation and production launch.
• Build high-fidelity agent prototypes and evaluation suites that define product correctness and readiness.
• Design prompts, tool-use constraints, multi-agent architectures, state management, and human-in-the-loop decision points.
• Balance model accuracy, latency, inference cost, and commercial viability while designing efficient orchestration paths.
• Define graceful degradation strategies using deterministic tax engines, explicit fallbacks, confidence signals, and human escalation.
• Partner with engineering, UX, and tax domain specialists to translate expert judgment into system prompts, tool contracts, and evaluation criteria.

Requirements

• Daily hands-on experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar platforms.
• Ability to debug raw agent transcripts and distinguish prompt, tooling, evaluation, and model failures.
• Understanding of context windows, RAG, model routing, tool design, and when deterministic logic is preferable to an LLM call.
• Experience shipping user experiences that handle AI uncertainty through fallbacks, confidence signals, and human validation.
• Commercial software experience in regulated enterprise SaaS environments where compliance, privacy, auditability, and uptime are critical.
• Based in the United States; the primary position location is Kennesaw, Georgia.

Nice to have

• Experience in tax, accounting, legal, healthcare, or financial services.
• Experience composing third-party APIs and deciding when to build proprietary orchestration.
