Residential Account Specialist - Multifamily Homes

Location: Baton Rouge, Monroe, or Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States; field-based with local travel required 20–30% of the time. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Salary: $60,940–$103,598 per year based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Review and approve projects submitted by participating trade allies.
• Perform desktop and field QA/QC on technical project data to support weekly processing and compliance.
• Coach and train trade allies and internal support staff on best practices, technical topics, and audit resolution.
• Support reporting, presentations, database management, and analysis using Microsoft Office and industry-specific tools.
• Build relationships with Louisiana trade allies, nonprofits, subcontractors, and industry associations.
• Represent residential energy-efficiency programs at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with one year of experience substituting for each year of education.
• At least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in utilities, energy efficiency, construction, or the trades.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and successful Motor Vehicle Records check required.
• Ability to conduct local field travel 20–30% of the time in the Louisiana region.

Nice to have

• Residential energy-efficiency experience and knowledge.
• Experience working with nonprofits or managing a trade ally/service-provider network.
• Certified Energy Manager or BPI credentials.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills.
