What you will do
- Lead Release Management, QA, and DevOps, owning delivery quality, release discipline, and platform reliability.
- Design and implement engineering-wide quality standards, automated testing practices, release gates, and quality dashboards.
- Lead automation across Angular, Swift, and Kotlin platforms while moving QA from manual-heavy processes to an automation-first model.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, alerting, observability, and emerging SRE practices.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, release management, and technical support on incident response, release readiness, and systemic quality improvements.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding, test generation, test maintenance, and regression coverage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience and at least 4 years in engineering leadership managing QA, DevOps, or platform reliability teams.
- Deep hands-on experience building or rebuilding quality engineering and multi-platform automation frameworks.
- Experience migrating automation across web and native mobile platforms, including iOS and Android.
- Experience implementing release gates, enforcing go/no-go decisions, and shifting teams from manual QA to automation-first practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Maestro, or equivalent tools, plus CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability; AWS is preferred.
- Strong technical depth, cross-functional influence, communication, and experience with regulated financial software environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, core banking, digital banking, credit union, or community bank environments.
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience building an SRE function and managing QA teams through a quality engineering transformation.
- Familiarity with Angular, Swift, and Kotlin environments.
