Software Engineering Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead geographically distributed engineering teams delivering Commercial Lending applications and services.
• Oversee the full technology lifecycle to ensure solutions are resilient, scalable, secure, and compliant.
• Partner with vendor partners to align business priorities with the product roadmap.
• Implement Agentic SDLC and cloud-native infrastructure to improve productivity and delivery.
• Manage governance, risk, and control oversight within a highly regulated banking environment.
• Coach and develop team members to foster a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in Arlington, TX (Hybrid).
• Unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
• Strong experience in software architecture, design, and development within enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of Commercial Lending processes and regulated financial institutions.
• Experience managing software engineering groups (3-5 years preferred).
• Proficiency with .NET, Python, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted software development and prompting techniques.
• Knowledge of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with open source projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
