VP Utilities/Energy

Location: Onsite in Canada, with priority talent pools in Ontario/Toronto for utilities and Western Canada for energy and mining.

Base compensation: CAD 200,000–300,000 per year, with potential additional variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead the national Energy & Utilities growth agenda for hirify.global Canada, prioritizing utilities and expanding energy and mining opportunities.
• Build executive relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
• Identify, qualify, shape, and close major transformation opportunities aligned with hirify.global’s capabilities.
• Develop differentiated solutions across internal teams, geographies, business lines, delivery groups, and partner ecosystems.
• Activate relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, platforms, and specialist technology providers.
• Build and mentor the Energy & Utilities team and strengthen a collaborative operating culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of consultative sales, industry leadership, or client-facing transformation leadership experience in Energy & Utilities.
• Strong commercial track record with significant growth, sales targets, or complex client opportunities.
• Deep utilities expertise, with meaningful exposure to energy and ideally mining-related opportunities.
• Ability to influence senior executives and lead strategic C-suite conversations.
• Experience working in global, complex, matrixed environments and connecting multiple teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, agentic solutions, smart grids, meters, DERMS, OT/IT convergence, and industry platforms.
