Global Practitioner (Data Quality)

Location: Remote, USA

Salary: $168,000–$210,000 USD per year, plus commission-based compensation.

What you will do

• Advise executive stakeholders and program leaders on data quality operating models, ownership, governance, and business cases.
• Guide customers in designing quality rules, dimensions, scoring, monitoring, alerting, observability, and remediation workflows.
• Integrate data quality practices into data pipelines, data products, and governance processes.
• Design and lead customer workshops covering strategy, use-case prioritization, metrics, stewardship, and adoption.
• Conduct data quality maturity assessments and create phased improvement roadmaps.
• Develop and share data quality best practices and customer success stories.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• At least 3 years of experience leading data quality, data reliability, data governance, or equivalent senior-level programs.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a hirify.global Data Quality & Observability champion or stakeholder.
• Practical knowledge of data quality dimensions, rule design, scoring, monitoring, alerting, observability, remediation, and maturity assessment.
• Ability to read and write SQL and data quality rule logic, use REST APIs and basic HTTP methods, and work with boolean logic and Linux fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, with strong consulting, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Apache Spark at a high level.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Ability to read and write Python code.
