Senior Application Architect (AI)

Location: Remote, associated with Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required. A dedicated home workspace and a wired DSL or cable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required; satellite and wireless internet are not allowed.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and develop application architecture solutions aligned with enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of technical specifications.
• Develop specifications for applications, products, services, and service offerings.
• Assess compatibility and integration across interdependent applications.
• Define technical approaches for complex project components and influence department strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience as a senior developer on large IT projects.
• Previous project architect or team lead experience.
• At least 3 years of project experience with AI, cloud platforms, and HR platform SaaS applications.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, design patterns, integration patterns, software engineering, security-by-design, identity and access management, data protection, and secure coding.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, containers, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, DevOps, and architecture documentation.

• Master’s degree.
