Future Opportunities: SR&ED Consultant (Finance & Innovation Performance)

Location: Canada; hybrid work with three days from home per week and up to one month working from anywhere in the world

Salary: CAD 75,000–95,000 base salary per year, plus bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Evaluate client projects and activities for eligibility under the SR&ED tax incentive program.
• Plan and execute SR&ED claims, including interviewing technical personnel and structuring projects according to government criteria.
• Prepare technical reports and assess documentation systems for eligible expenditures.
• Train client staff and develop strategies to maximize tax-credit and funding benefits.
• Advise clients and represent them during CRA claim reviews.
• Identify additional funding programs, tax credits, grants, and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, robotics, automation, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• Prior consulting experience; SR&ED experience is an asset.
• Proven experience managing client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Strong time management, independence, integrity, and ability to manage multiple projects.
