Consulting Senior Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada; at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Oversee consulting activities and deliver high-impact engagements for hirify.global’s financial institution and fintech clients in Canada and the North American region.
• Lead advisory engagements, manage project teams, and provide career mentorship.
• Develop strategic frameworks, recommendations, scalable solutions, toolkits, and best-practice documents.
• Analyze client performance and large data sets to identify opportunities across profitability, growth, customer experience, digital payments, risk, and portfolio management.
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, risk, innovation, data science, product, and regional teams.
• Build and nurture client relationships, influence senior executives, and support business development.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with an advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business strategy, including consulting methodologies and project delivery.
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience working with large data sets and synthesizing client insights.
• Understanding of banking or payments P&L and the factors driving profitability.
• Availability to work from the Toronto office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Canadian banks or other financial institutions.
• Experience in the banking and payments industry.
• MBA or relevant graduate degree from a top-tier institution.
• Previous experience at a management consulting firm.
