TL;DR
Junior Buyer (Procurement): Supporting operational and strategic purchasing activities for industrial automation products with an accent on tenders, supplier coordination, contract management, and supply chain stability. Focus on analyzing markets, negotiating prices, monitoring inventory and lead times, and maintaining procurement data in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Location: Eggelsberg, Upper Austria, Austria; onsite with 10 home office days per month

Salary: €3,449.08 gross monthly minimum for a full-time position, as of May 2026

hirify.global’s Machine Automation division provides integrated control, software, motion control, mechatronics, and machine automation solutions for industrial applications.

What you will do

  • Support tenders, market analyses, supplier inquiries, and price negotiations with experienced buyers.
  • Assist with contracts, delivery schedules, and logistics agreements involving international suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory, lead times, prices, and PCN/EOL topics to support stable material availability.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities, master data, and supplier complaints with production planning, order management, suppliers, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical education.
  • Interest in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing processes.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Structured and analytical approach to work.
  • Good German and English skills.

Nice to have

  • First practical experience in procurement.
  • SAP or ERP knowledge.
