Staff Business Systems Analyst - Core Finance Systems

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $169,000–$229,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive operational support and business enhancements across major Finance systems.
• Lead enterprise planning, prioritization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Research customer and business needs through usability studies, prototyping, and experimentation.
• Define product, automation, and technology roadmaps across near-term and future-state horizons.
• Analyze product fit, process optimization, technical dependencies, maturity, and external benchmarks.
• Partner with Finance, business, and engineering leaders to improve people, processes, and technology.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering software products in a Product Management role.
• Experience with enterprise planning, prioritization technologies, product roadmaps, process automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle Financials or comparable core Finance modules, including General Ledger, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Projects, and Accounting.
• Understanding of APIs, connectors, data flows, third-party integrations, technology options, and business cases.
• Strong data and metrics orientation, project management, decision-making, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline is required; an MBA is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finance transformation and strategy, including Source to Report and Record to Report.
• Knowledge of Coupa, BlackLine, Aravo, or similar third-party Finance applications.
• MBA or experience with enterprise technology prototyping, testing, and data conversion strategies.
