Senior Business Systems Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York, New York, USA

Salary: $135,000–$169,000 USD per year, plus equity and possible variable compensation.

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous stakeholder requests into clear requirements and buildable solutions for Business Systems Engineering.
• Identify cross-functional dependencies, downstream impacts, and integration considerations.
• Develop domain expertise to identify automation and AI opportunities proactively.
• Own stakeholder relationships and act as the primary point of contact for the assigned business domain.
• Review system configuration, data integrity, vendor fit, and business process documentation.
• Support compliance with security and privacy standards, including GDPR and SOX.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a high-tech or SaaS environment.
• 4+ years as a business systems administrator or analyst leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• 4+ years managing multiple projects and creating business design documents.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and interpret API documentation.
• Experience with AI or agentic tools, systems integrations, stakeholder management, and complex project delivery.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, SOC, and ISO.
