Manager, Insurance Claims Operations

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid schedule with required office attendance

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives that improve the scalability, effectiveness, and performance of insurance claims operations.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, Data Science, Actuarial, and Quality Assurance teams to design and optimize AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions.
• Drive process redesign, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement across the claims organization.
• Develop operational strategies that improve customer experience, efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation and build governance, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Strengthen partnerships with carriers, third-party administrators, and internal business teams to improve claims outcomes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading complex operations in insurance, risk, Trust & Safety, marketplace operations, or program management.
• Progressive cross-functional leadership experience and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills for building scalable governance, metrics, and workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing goals in a fast-changing environment and balance efficiency with sound risk judgment.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Tempe, Arizona office.
