Site Manager (Logistics)

Location: Alexandria, Virginia, United States; onsite distribution center role with late-night and weekend availability required.

Salary: $64,800–$95,300 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations of a 5,000–15,000 sq ft distribution center, including light-prep kitchen activities at applicable sites.
• Recruit, lead, coach, and retain Shift Leads and Operations Associates while building a safe, positive, and productive workplace.
• Own scheduling, labor budgets, site-level performance metrics, and support across multiple shifts.
• Improve customer experience by maintaining order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and other quality metrics.
• Partner with inventory, training, and other central teams to provide operational support and resources.
• Use Excel or Google Sheets and operational data to identify inefficiencies and deliver process improvement projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of team leadership experience in high-volume retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics, or operations environments.
• Experience managing high-performance teams of 10+ employees and developing people.
• Availability to support a 24/7 operation, including some late-night and weekend work.
• Experience analyzing data with Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
• College degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, solve problems from first principles, and adapt to rapid change.
