What you will do

• Act as a strategic IT partner for senior business leaders and assigned business units.
• Analyze business challenges, coordinate issue resolution, and manage communication during system incidents.
• Bridge Japan-based business stakeholders with regional and global IT teams.
• Lead end-to-end internal and external IT projects from requirements definition through go-live.
• Develop investment plans and cost models, and drive IT strategies supporting business growth.
• Oversee IT service quality, SLA performance, continuous improvement, data utilization, and digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience managing stakeholders, customers, and senior executives, including director- and executive-level decision-making sessions.
• Experience with logical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and improvement planning through execution.
• Experience implementing SCM systems such as WMS, TMS, or SAP, from logistics operations analysis through requirements definition, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with upstream system phases, onsite interviews, business process analysis, and requirements definition.
• Project management experience based on PMBOK, including schedule, risk, and budget ownership.
• Fluent English and Japanese are required.
