Strategic Client Service Vice President (Asset & Wealth Management)

What you will do

• Manage the pipeline of client events and oversee the onboarding of new separate accounts and advisory mandates for institutional clients.
• Lead cross-functional project plans involving Portfolio Management, Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
• Negotiate and track contractual obligations, including Investment Management Agreements and Investment Guidelines.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure correct account, custodian, and counterparty setup.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders throughout the client account event.
• Identify and implement process and governance improvements to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of industry experience in asset or wealth management.
• Experience in client onboarding, product development, or fund launch.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese for interaction with global stakeholders and clients.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive resolution across multiple complex threads of activity.
• Exceptional judgment and an analytical mindset for problem solving.
