Head of Cable Cutting (Automotive): Leading cable-cutting production operations at a wire harness manufacturing plant with an accent on workforce planning, production stability, quality, and delivery performance. Focus on optimizing line capacity, solving systemic process constraints, driving lean improvements, and coordinating production, maintenance, engineering, quality, logistics, and HR.
Location: Onsite in Quang Nam, Vietnam, at the Tam Thang Industrial Zone near Da Nang

What you will do
- Lead and develop the production organization, including supervisors and team leaders.
- Plan workforce capacity, manpower, shifts, overtime, temporary resources, and cross-training.
- Oversee daily production operations, start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and technical issue resolution.
- Own production KPIs for output, quality, cost, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Build a strong quality, safety, compliance, and continuous-improvement culture.
- Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and management on operations, new product introductions, and engineering changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in production operations.
- Hands-on experience in high-labor or large-workforce manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Experience with 5 Whys, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, lean manufacturing, line balancing, push/pull systems, and inventory management.
- Good English required; strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP and MES are also required.
