What you will do

• Assemble wind turbine nacelles, hubs, drive trains, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Follow engineering drawings and work instructions while performing torquing, alignment, fit-up, and dimensional checks.
• Operate overhead cranes and safely lift, position, and remove large materials and components.
• Conduct safety inspections, maintain an organized work area, and comply with production quality and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams on root cause analysis, troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Support other production areas, including electrical assembly, as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, plus mechanical certifications or technical training.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience reading mechanical blueprints, technical documentation, and detailed work instructions.
• Experience with overhead cranes; ability to obtain and maintain required crane operator certification.
• Proficiency with torque tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, and measuring instruments.
• Fluent English is required to follow safety instructions and communicate with supervisors and team members. Must also pass a respiratory fit test and work at heights.

Nice to have

• Experience in wind turbine, automotive, or industrial equipment assembly.
• Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 quality systems.
