Senior Analytics Lead (Minecraft)

Location: United States, Washington, Redmond

Salary: USD $106,400–$203,600 per year across the U.S.; USD $137,600–$222,600 per year in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Partner with Product, Business, and studio leaders to define success metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
• Translate complex business questions into analytical approaches, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Synthesize findings into compelling narratives, executive scorecards, business reviews, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Champion analytics best practices and enable teams to use data effectively in everyday decision-making.
• Evaluate emerging analytics and AI capabilities to improve access to insights and scale analytics impact.
• Establish shared metric definitions, semantic models, and governance practices that build trust and alignment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant analytical, technical, business, or quantitative field with 2+ years of relevant experience; or bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience; equivalent experience is also accepted.
• 8+ years of experience in data analysis and insights, data science, or business intelligence is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with Power BI/Fabric, Tableau, Looker, or related tools is preferred.
• Advanced SQL and/or Python skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Experience influencing strategy with Product, Business, and Executive stakeholders.
• Experience with experimentation, statistical analysis, performance measurement, impact evaluation, and AI-assisted analytics is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience applying generative AI, natural-language data experiences, or AI-assisted reporting.
• Passion for games, player experiences, and data-informed product development.
