Data Analyst (Game Analytics)

What you will do

• Define instrumentation requirements, event schemas, and KPIs with North American studios using the centralized SDK.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, self-service analytics tools, and reporting layers.
• Analyze game health, feature performance, A/B tests, live operations events, retention, ARPU, and LTV.
• Translate telemetry data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Validate SDK integration quality, event logging, data completeness, and schema consistency with studio engineers.
• Develop AI-assisted tools such as metric summary bots, anomaly commentary, automated reporting pipelines, and data documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analytics experience, including 3+ years in the games industry.
• Deep experience with event-based telemetry and game data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Experience with live-service game metrics and end-to-end analytics from instrumentation specification to stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to write effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Strong communication skills and experience supporting multiple studios or product teams simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Business-level Korean proficiency.
• Experience collaborating with Korean or other Asia-Pacific organizations.
• Experience building AI-powered internal analytics tools.
• Experience maintaining shared data SDKs, instrumentation libraries, schema registries, or data contracts.
• Background in publishing analytics, user acquisition, platform performance, or regional launch metrics.
