Director, Corporate Development & Special Projects (AI)

What you will do

• Build and scale the Corporate Development function, including processes for deal sourcing and execution.
• Source, evaluate, and execute strategic investments and M&A opportunities aligned with long-term growth.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, product and technology analysis, and financial benchmarking.
• Manage end-to-end transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, negotiation, and integration planning.
• Lead strategic, cross-functional, complex, and competitively sensitive special projects.
• Support Investor Relations through narrative development, materials, investor communications, conference preparation, and fundraising activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field. An MBA is preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or VC/PE, with significant experience in technology M&A and strategic growth.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and experience with complex businesses in high-growth, highly dynamic markets.
• Proficiency with AI tools, Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Outstanding communication skills, including experience presenting to and communicating with executives, investors, and sophisticated business audiences.
• Strong storytelling-with-data skills.
• Strong ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, drive, pragmatism, and willingness to work hands-on.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Tableau, SFDC, and NetSuite.
