hirify.global is hiring for a growing U.S.-based business seeking reliable accounting operations and financial reporting.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts across accruals, prepaids, payroll allocations, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform cash, bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit card, deferred revenue, inventory, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, maintaining close checklists and delivering accurate reporting within 5–7 business days.
• Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, financial schedules, and budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analyses.
• Maintain financial data in NetSuite or a similar ERP, improve workflows, and support automation and system-control initiatives.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, internal controls, SOPs, and review of work completed by junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, accrual accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or a similar accounting or ERP system.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, and reporting workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and availability aligned with U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Advanced NetSuite experience, multi-entity accounting, consolidations, or multi-currency accounting.
• Experience in SaaS, real estate, professional services, or another growing company.
• ERP implementation or migration, accounting automation, and development of accounting SOPs and internal controls.
