What you will do

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Maintain general ledger account reconciliations and investigate balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Manage accounting for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany accounts, and cost of sales.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with tax workpapers for federal and state filings and support acquisition-related financials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in both public accounting and startup environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or active pursuit of certification.
