Senior Investment Data Analyst (AI Enablement)

Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid schedule with approximately 2–3 days per week onsite and the remaining time remote.

Salary: $94,500–$132,500 USD annual base salary, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with investment, operations, technology, reporting, and data management stakeholders to define business needs and requirements.
• Translate business objectives into functional requirements, data specifications, acceptance criteria, testing scenarios, and process improvements.
• Analyze, reconcile, validate, and profile investment data across fixed income, equities, derivatives, mortgage-related investments, and other asset classes.
• Monitor data flows from internal systems, custodians, administrators, market-data providers, and investment platforms into reporting warehouses.
• Investigate data exceptions, identify root causes, and improve data quality, controls, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Use approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to support analysis, documentation, testing, anomaly detection, and exception classification while maintaining human oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, information systems, computer science, data analytics, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Seven or more years of experience in investment management, asset management, investment operations, financial services, business analysis, data management, or data analytics.
• Strong investment-data knowledge across front-, middle-, and back-office functions and practical understanding of multiple asset classes.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, reconciling, profiling, and validating large datasets.
• Experience with data warehouses or cloud data platforms, data mapping, data lineage, data controls, data quality, and integration or user acceptance testing.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, presentation, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, Python, GitHub, APIs, JSON, Parquet, notebooks, Power BI, Streamlit, semantic models, data catalogs, or metadata tools.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, or comparable enterprise AI tools and responsible-AI practices.
• Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, State Street, BNY, Charles River, FactSet, SimCorp, or comparable investment platforms.
• Experience with market data, security master data, portfolio and accounting data, performance, attribution, risk, regulatory reporting, or client reporting.
• CFA, FRM, CPA, CBAP, product owner, cloud, data management, or Agile certification.
