Senior Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid options available in Phoenix, AZ and San Francisco, CA; remote available in other approved US locations).

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 + bonus + benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze loan portfolios and originations to identify risks and opportunities for portfolio return improvement.
• Detect quality breakdowns in credit and underwriting systems to mitigate compliance risks.
• Develop multivariate statistical and predictive models to answer key business questions.
• Analyze sales and digital application funnels to generate actionable insights for growth.
• Create executive-level presentations to summarize findings and propose business improvements.
• Drive proposals through to implementation, ensuring data-driven results are hirify.globald.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; no H1-B or STEM-OPT sponsorship available.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, quantitative business analysis, or statistical analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a scientific field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with regression analysis, decision trees, and intelligent decision models.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical results to senior management.

• Prior experience in business analysis or consulting.
• Advanced SQL querying skills and data visualization expertise.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate insight generation.
• Coursework in statistical programming, simulation, or hypothesis testing.
