Hardware Engineer (Automotive)

Hardware Engineer (Automotive): Developing electronics, ECUs, cameras, and monitors for vision and driver-assistance systems in off-road and heavy vehicles with an accent on PCB design, EMC/EMI performance, and automotive hardware quality. What you will do

• Develop hardware for new and amended products in the Vision & Driver Assistance product line.
• Design PCB schematics and layouts using Altium and Siemens Xpedition.
• Analyze customer requirements and product definitions, and maintain design documentation.
• Support component selection, simulations, functional testing, and EMC/EMI-focused hardware optimization.
• Coordinate verification and validation activities with testing, production, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to DFMEAs, manufacturability, product support, and the hirify.global Product Launch Program process.

Requirements

• HBO/WO degree in electronic or electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of hardware development experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of electronics EMC/EMI testing and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
• Knowledge of automotive core tools including PPAP, DFMEA, 8D, and APQP.
• Comprehensive understanding of hardware and software, product safety, environmental legislation, and current industry developments.
