Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; onsite five days a week

hirify.global develops robotics and software to automate onsite construction, building the full hardware and software stack in-house.

What you will do

• Own the increase of quarterly production from 30 to 100 robot system sets within one year.
• Take prototype modules through design validation, improvement, and production readiness.
• Assemble modules, identify production friction, and resolve issues with the hardware engineering team.
• Develop fixtures, jigs, and light automation solutions for module assembly.
• Evaluate production processes for outsourcing while maintaining quality standards.
• Produce drawings, assembly instructions, and quality checks for robot integration.

Requirements

• Industry experience transitioning products from prototype to production, ideally in a venture-backed startup.
• Hands-on and analytical experience with assemblies, production studies, data analysis, and quality problem-solving.
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly, including press fits, fastener selection, and harnesses.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and experience producing 3D and 2D drawings.
• Experience creating structured process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and quality checklists.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with ERP tools such as Odoo.
