IATF Lead Auditor (Automotive)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; regular travel to sites abroad is required.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver independent audits of automotive quality management systems against ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Assess the implementation and effectiveness of management systems as an independent technical expert.
• Identify opportunities for quality, operational, and system improvement.
• Apply automotive quality processes including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Build client relationships and provide professional guidance on certification requirements.

Requirements

• At least four years of work experience in the automotive supply industry within the last 15 years.
• Knowledge of process management, statistical techniques, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with a chemistry major.
• Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Strong communication and social skills, with willingness to travel regularly to sites abroad.

Nice to have

• Qualification as a third-party IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• Experience with an IATF 16949-certified OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier, or as an IATF-qualified third-party auditor at a certification body.
